Makoa Farm Wildlife Rescue Center day trip

In the morning your guide will pick you from your accommodation or Airport. After greeting and short brief you will start safari to Makoa Farm Rescue Center.

Located on the southern slope of Mount Kilimanjaro, Makoa Farm is the only wildlife rescue center in Tanzania. The organization is taking care of the injured and orphaned animals that would otherwise have no chance of survival in the wild. The mission of the rehabilitation center is to provide treatment to the animals that came in the way of harm and release them back into their natural habitat if possible.
On Makoa Farm you will see a variety of wild animals such as a cheetah, monkeys, zebras, elephants, marabous and many others, and each animal has their own story.

Makoa Farm is a self-funded institution, strongly dependent on the sold entry tickets and donations. Your visit there will make a contribution to the survival of its residents.

Before sunset, you will be taken back to  Airport or at Hotel.
