7 Days Southern Tanzania Safari-Mikumi, Udzungwa & selous(Nyerere National Park)

Our safari will start from Zanzibar ferry or Airport and then transferred to Dar es salaam and soon after your arrival you will meet your safari guide waiting you with safari vehicle and start a journey to Mikumi National Park.

when you arrive in Mikumi you will be checked in and then start game drives and afternoon you will stop for lunch while enjoying wildlife diversity within the park and then continue with animal watching .

In Mikumi you should expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants and  hippos  and a many birds species.

After a breakfast we start for a full day game drive across the Mikumi National Park. This is an open park home to lions, elephants, buffalo’s, impalas, zebras and many others! You will be offered a picnic for lunch at one of the camp sites.

After a breakfast a journey to Udzungwa will start. It’s a Daylong mountain hiking and discovery of different primate species in their natural habitat among which the Iringa red colobus. You will enjoy a rich picnic by one of the many waterfalls.

On the road again. Departure in the morning after breakfast and upon arrival and after coddling a few hours’ well-needed pause and lunch at your lodge, we take you on a boat safari on the Rufiji River sliding by crocodiles and hippos while discovering a stunning variety of birds. Complete your day with a magnificent sunset on the river.

After breakfast a full safari day begins. The Selous Reserve offers a diversity of fauna and flora: where you will enjoy the wildlife and the nature. Lakes hosting an array of aquatic fauna, magnificent baobab trees, extended plains, hills, bush and forest where you will pass by giraffes, elephants, warthogs, the rare wild dogs, among so many others, birds, monkeys and many others .We will break  for  lunch  at picnic site then continue with  safari.

Early wake up for a different adventure where by you will be  escorted by rangers you will start your day walking in the wild for 2:30 hours learning about the life in the bush and discovering the less visible animal life  then we will enjoy lunch at picnic site  and continue with game drive to evening.

After breakfast a journey back to Dar es salam will start while enyoying various attractions and African life on the way back and you will stop for hot lunch on the way and  after arrival on Dar es salaam you will be dropped  either at Airport /Ferry/ and back to Zanzibar
