The Tides Lodge is very environmentally aware, and uses solar water heaters, ionising water filters, bio-mass, low-energy light bulbs and buys locally wherever possible to reduce their impact on the environment.
The location of this lodge is idyllic; gentle waters lap the white sandy beach, and it is close to Maziwe Island, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming as well as spotting marine life such as turtles.
